The oil line on Lilia, my 2018 Sportster Iron, ruptured this past Thursday.
Where it split
It split on these three spots, and you can see them starting to open up. If they start opening up, especially that one, you've got a problem coming. It took all my oil and dumped it in the parking lot at work. Left a nice trail.
The line comes out of the oil tank, goes through the swing arm, comes out the other end, and clips up where it folds. The split was right about there. Sorry about the cat on camera.

Tank bone dry
The lighting's not great, but the tank is completely empty. Bone dry. I can see the bottom, which I usually couldn't.

Parts on order
New parts are on order: new hose and this end piece. The old clamp is one-time only, so it doesn't get reused. I've got another like the one down low.
When you do this, get a reinforced rubber hose. The regular rubber hoses just get eaten through.

Once I got the new line in, I showed exactly how I replaced it: How to Replace the Oil Drain Hose on a 2018 Iron 883
